Just back in SF after an exciting (and jam-packed) couple of days in New York for StateraCon. Saw 2 big-box shows (Slave Play & Hadestown), 2 shows as part of the conference (my 2nd viewing of Lisa Wolpe’s Shakespeare & the Alchemy of Gender and Kirsten Brandt & Janet Hayatshahi’s Launching Ships), spoke on a panel, took a dive into pie charts & statistics on hiring practices throughout our industry, met some incredible folx and walked around my heart’s favorite city in sunshine and rain. Looking forward to connecting further and using some of what I learned at the conference to improve processes at baWTF and further our local goal of parity and inclusion.
